The Aftermath

Well I loved the way the wall art turned out, but not the mess it left behind in my craft room lol! I overestimated the strips of lace and fabric I would use. This is a regular thing that I do so I usually have a mess of bits after every project. I usually find places to stuff the bits and then my boxes of bits grows just like my "things to alter" pile. 

I decided to not stuff away the bits, but use them while they are handy. I used the strips to make more  flowers. Now I have flowers at the ready instead of bits waiting for "something, someday".

Much better plan!! I already have ideas for how to use them! Hoping the new strategy keeps working. Thanks for taking the time to visit.
