Faberge Inspired Egg

A dear friend of mine invited me to join a swap where we would be making Faberge style paper mache eggs for each other. I found it to be a real challenge. I started the process over several times and this egg is actually the second egg I purchased and reworked at least three times...lol.

The inside is lined with satin and the rest is a surprise for my swap partner. I attached the egg to a candle stick holder for the base. I hope he loves it as much as I do!!!
